Winter Recreation
*There is something for everyone at Mirror Lake State Park. The skier, snowshoer, and the angler. The outdoor world does continue to exist during the winter months and nature is willing to pay some extra dividends for those hardy enough to seek them out during that time. Skiers, will be happy to learn that 17.8 miles (28.5 kin) of cross-country ski trails have been developed for their winter sport. Future developments are being planned for additional trails. Snowshoers may want to try a hike through some of the other areas of the park suitable for that activity. Another popular winter activity at Mirror Lake is ice fishing. Hardy anglers are often rewarded with good catches of pan fish and an occasional northern pike or bass.
